Taking your checkout offline

Should you need to take your checkout offline, you can do so in a matter of seconds.

When you take your checkout offline, your shoppers will immediately get directed to your native platform checkout/fallback checkout instead of Rally.

Note: you do not need to go offline and decrease your checkout traffic. We're just providing two different methods to go offline with Rally below to give you a couple of options.

'Go Offline' button in Settings

Head to 'Settings' in the Rally Admin: https://admin.onrally.com/settings

If your checkout is currently online, you'll see a red button at the top of the page giving you the ability to GO OFFLINE:

Once you confirm you'd like to go offline, you can easily see that the Rally instance of your checkout is completely offline:

Decrease traffic to 0%

Another method of taking your Rally checkout offline

Toggle to 'Checkout' on the left side of the menu in the Rally Admin. Then click 'Traffic' and pull the percentage of traffic to 0%:

Don't forget to click 'Publish' to save your changes. All of your shoppers will now head to your native checkout.

Open up an incognito/private browser session and head to your website. See instructions about browsing in private for Google Chrome here.

Add something to cart and click to proceed to checkout. You should see your native platform checkout or fallback checkout instead of the Rally checkout.
