Order Bumps offer a pre-purchase upsell that can be utilized to increase AOV.
Customers across all devices can now be offered products via order bumps within the checkout. The order bumps will be surfaced with the order summary and, if accepted, become a part of the original cart before the customer checks out.
The offers will be shown to the customers while they are in the checkout, and if accepted will be added to the initial order, before the customer has completed their checkout. Customers will then be shown Post Purchase Offers if they qualify for them through the funnels the merchant has set up. You will be able to utilize Order Bumps along with Post Purchase Offers, and the two do not have a direct relationship. However, remember that the criteria for Post Purchase Offers is based off of the cart, which the order bumps will be a part of.
How to Setup:
- Navigate to the ‘Order bumps’ tab in the Rally admin
- Select the green ‘+ Order Bump’ button in upper right corner to create a new order bump funnel
- Add your desired rule(s) (criteria)
- All the same criteria are available as with PPO’s!
- Add products to bump (max of 20, recommended 1-4)
- Customize product to bump by limiting variants and/or customizing price
- Finally, enable your new order bump funnel!
FAQ's

-
Nope, they must go back to their cart on the storefront and update there
